Numb was originally written and recorded by Carron who commissioned several artists to remix the track. the original is a folk track. This version keeps some of the original vocals but we re-recorded everything else back in and mixed electric guitars with synthesizers over some heavy beats.
This contrasts with the sweetness of the female vocals to create an unusual fusion of genres. The vocals portray a song about pain.
